Last Sunday (could I be any slower) Jen tagged me no one with this fun little challenge. I did it at work on a break, but forgot to email it to myself.  I was amazed with how “me” the title and cover art were. As far as Guiseppe Agnelli, ummm…..oh wait, I see….we’re both Catholic and we both write?

Mr. Vixen Revealed

I was tagged by my new ‘netty friend Happy Mama To Three and although I think I am behind on my tags (I promise No Nonsense Girl, I have a great one for the Dance tag and will get to it soon), but since I tried to kill my husband yesterday via arm/cheek attachment I thought I would show my soul mate some loving.

A Little About Us
The basic facts:
Who is your significant other? Mr. Vixen aka Sweetie aka Honey aka HEY YOU CAN YOU HEAR ME
How long have you been together? We met and started dating (?we were 13 and 15) in 1976, we took a break and he called me up in 1979….we were married in 1982.
Dating/Engaged/Married? So very married.
How old is your S.O.? 46, 1.5 years older than myself.
What’s his/her middle name? Dean
Who eats more? I eat more at a single meal, but he munches all day long.
Who says “I love you” first? Hmmm, I can hardly remember last week, but I think it is me or him.
Who weighs more? He does.
Who sings better? We are both so awful. It doesn’t stop us from singing, but you will often hear one of us saying “please don’t sing.”
Who’s older? Him.
Who’s smarter? I am and he would not dare argue that with me.
Whose temper is worse? His.

Shelly, at This Eclectic Life, tagged me with a meme a bit ago and I said I like a challenge. I then simply ran out of time and energy (probably due to all the walking to the barn I have to do.)

Here we go:

• My favorite thing is time with my family. Whether its hanging out with my husband or the kids. We love to hang out. Just sitting around talking, challenging each other and sharing life. Sometimes we chase the little ones around, take pictures of them on the trampoline or sliding or playing tag. Sometimes we just sit to visit. Other times there are fun games of horseshoes or badminton. There is always laughter and dinner, because we are a funny bunch who are always hungry. I cherish those times. They do so much to keep me sane.
• I love reading. It feeds my mind. As a kid packing for vacation meant did I have enough brown grocery bags full of books? I still went out and fished, hiked, and swam. But a tremendous amount of time was spent reading books. I don’t have has much time to read anymore. But when I delve into a book, good luck to any who try to get me out until I am done with it.
• Being crafty or creative. I admit I can be very attention deficit about crafts, unless they are short term projects. I can’t tell you how many things I have going that are “about halfway”. But crocheting, taking pictures, sewing and anything involving a glue gun really wraps up my mind and makes it sing like a bird. I rarely keep anything for myself (except the pictures which I love to look through again and again), I love the idea that I invested love and imagination in something and that someone else will have it to remind them that I am thinking about them.

• Grocery store discount cards. A sale should be a sale. I want the discounted price without you tracking my every purchase.
• Flies. I know they probably serve some purpose, but surely there is another insect that can take over that task?
• Grills. Seriously stupid. If you want metal in your mouth get braces, at least your teeth will be straight when you get over how awful it is.
• Black nail polish. It never looks good. Not even the hottest goth looks good with black nail polish.

3 things people do that make you want to shake them violently.

• Those people who see you patiently waiting for someone to pull out of parking space with your turn indicator on (they make eye contact even) who then, at the last possible moment, dart in front of you and steal the park space
• The “one-upper”. That person who always has a better story than anything you share, even if it is totally off the topic. They are always interrupting and talking over the top of you.
• Tailgaiting, speeding, teenage drivers on cell phones. ‘Nuff said.

2 things you find yourself moaning about.

• The cost of living….and how much more it costs than I make.
• Vacation. I want one. I need one. I deserve one. Ain’t gonna get one.
