I have a secret weakness: Sausage Egg McMuffins. I could eat them every. single. day.
So I say thanks to:
Herb Peterson, who invented the ubiquitous Egg McMuffin as a way to introduce breakfast to McDonald’s restaurants, has died, a Southern California McDonald’s official said Wednesday. He was 89.
Rest well and happy, Herb. Knowing I adore your McMuffins.

You’ll eat those yucky things but turn up your nose at my peanut butter and mayo sandwiches?
🙂

I wonder if Mr. Peterson died of heart disease. Even if he did – 89? It took awhile for those babies to catch up to him.

I love those McMuffins too but I can’t manage to eat more than a few a year. Love the new blog look!
