Being the only female at work doesn’t bother me. But, I do know that I am the only one who keeps track (in my calender with reminders!) of everyone’s birthday. Today was mine. No one mentioned it, which was fine. Yesterday was my co-worker’s birthday and the 29th was my boss’s (he was out of town). So at lunch I ran out and got them each a cupcake with a candle!
It was fun to see how they loved that I remembered their special day! And I got a chuckle that it was my birthday, but we celebrated theirs!
